Ten people have reportedly been killed in an explosion that hit the Turkish town of Suruc near the border with Syria.

The cause of the blast was not immediately clear.

The explosion took place earlier Monday in the garden of a culture center in Suruc, about 10 kilometers from the Syrian flashpoint town of Kobane.
