Churches razed in Nigerias central state attack

At least 11 people were killed and two churches were razed by gunmen who stormed two communities in central Nigeria's Plateau State early Wednesday, local media reported, citing security sources and residents.
Six civilians and five security operatives lost their lives in the attack on Gako and Tanjol communities, both located in the restive Riyom local government area of the central Nigeria state, residents said.
But local police said only six dead bodies had been found so far.
According to state police spokesperson Dominic Esin, five other people were injured as the unknown gunmen went on rampage and razed two churches.
