The fighting in the conflict-torn Donetsk and Luhansk regions, Ukraine’s east, has left seven servicemen and eight border guards dead and 89 wounded over the past 24 hours, National Security and Defense Council spokesman Andrei Lysenko said on Friday.
Over 400 servicemen have been killed and about 1,600 wounded since the punitive operation in eastern Ukraine, he said.
