Two people were hit by gunfire Tuesday morning near the City Hall Square of Copenhagen, police sources said.
It is currently not possible to confirm the conditions of the injured, said sources with the Copenhagen Police Station, adding that the suspected offender had been arrested and a sawed-off shotgun confiscated.
The reason for the shooting is so far unknown, police said.
A further investigation into the incident is under way.
