At least two Taliban militants were killed and nine others were injured following military operations jointly conducted by Afghan forces and the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in the past 24 hours. The Interior Ministry of Afghanistan said in a statement today that the operations were conducted in Kunar, Nangarhar, Laghman, Kandahar, Zabul, Maidan, Wardak, Logar, Ghazni and Helmand provinces of Afghanistan.The security forces also seized heavy and light weapons, during the operations, the Interior Ministry added in its statement.No loss was reported among the security forces.
