The bodies of both people aboard a Swiss Air Force fighter jet that crashed into a mountain have been found, the army said Thursday, a day after the accident. The second victim was found Thursday after the first body was discovered Wednesday evening in steep terrain near Lake Lucerne in central Switzerland, it said. The dead were the pilot and an Air Force medic who were on board the F/A-18 fighter jet that crashed in bad weather. The plane and another F/A-18 jet were conducting a U-turn at low altitude. One of them broke off the maneuver and ascended steeply while the other one flew into the mountain.
