At least three militants have been killed in clashes with Malian soldiers in the northeast of Mali. A military patrol was attacked by a gang in the town of Menaka, according to a statement by the Malian Defense Ministry. Four gunmen were also injured in the confrontation, the statement said. One soldier was wounded, it added. The Defense Ministry said a car and two motorcycles, as well as artillery used in the attack were confiscated.
