Four people were killed and another injured in a landslide at a tailings pond in Jinping County of southwest China’s Yunnan Province, local authorities said. The landslide buried five people working at the tailings pond, according to China’s News agency (Xinhua). Rescuers found four dead at the scene. One injured person remains in hospital. The victims have all been identified. The landslide was caused by days of continuous heavy rain in the region.
