As many as 40 Daesh militants were killed and 80 others injured in air strikes launched by the US-led coalition in Iraq's Nineveh governorate, a military source said.
Meanwhile, Iraqi security troops killed 48 Daesh elements, including three Afghans and a Chinese in a military operation carried out in Balad city in Saladin governorate, a security source said.
