Five people were killed and 22 others injured in a road accident in the eastern Indian state of Bihar on Saturday, said police. A private bus overturned and fell into a roadside ditch in Bihar's Bhojpur District on the Ara-Sasaram road. The injured were admitted to hospital for treatment. Driver of the bus has absconded. Road accidents take place frequently in India due to reckless driving, bad road conditions and over-packing.
