Afghan intelligence agency hit by suicide bomb attack

At least six people were killed and dozens injured in an attack carried by Taliban gunmen on an office of the Afghan intelligence agency in the eastern city of Jalalabad on Saturday, officials said.
A cuisine bomber blew himself up at the gate of the Jalalabad headquarters of the National Directorate of Security, opening the way for a second attacker who was shot dead by the guards, said Ahmad Zeya Abdulzai, a spokesman for the governor of eastern Nangarhar province.
“So far six bodies and 45 wounded have been transferred to the local hospital,” he added.
The Taliban militant group claimed responsibility for the attack.
