Six people were killed and more than two dozen others injured in a fatal bus accident in eastern Nepal early Monday morning, police. "The injured people are receiving treatment in a local hospital, " police officer Pancha Man Waiba told Xinhua over the telephone. Police attributed the accident to speeding and careless driving. This is the second fatal bus accident in a week. Last week, 19 people were killed and two dozen others injured in a similar accident in western Nepal. Nepal has witnessed a series of bus accidents over the past few months due to the low quality of road and passenger buses.
