At least seven people were killed and four went missing after 11 people were washed away at a waterfall in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh on Monday, said police.
The incident took place at the Bagdari picnic spot, about 50 km away from Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh after water level in a river nearby rose suddenly.
So far seven bodies have been fished out but others remained untraceable.
The victims were crossing the river nearby the waterfall when the water level rose suddenly and all of them were swept away.
