At least three migrants of Syrian, Burmese, and Afghan origin died Monday after their boat sank in Aegean Sea of Turkey, Turkish Anadolu news agency reported. The boat sank in Cesme district of western Izmir province, said the report, adding that coast guard teams found the three bodies and managed to rescue 29 immigrants. Izmir governor Mustafa Toprak, confirmed the death of the three people. Search and rescue efforts continue in the region to find the four others who are still missing.
