Helicopter crash in Russia

A helicopter crashed on Saturday in Russia's eastern Sea of Okhotsk, killing at least six people, emergency officials said. Ten people survived the crash, they added.

The Mi-8 helicopter fell in the sea not far from an oil platform. The helicopter was flying top executives from the city of Khabarovsk to the Shantar Islands, dpa reported.

The captain used a satellite phone to report the crash to aviation authorities, which prompted a search and rescue mission.
