Long violent dispute between members of two families in Baghlan-e-Markazi district of the northern Baghlan province claimed seven lives and injured another on Monday evening, police said Tuesday. \"Dispute between two families led to bloody clash among the cousins in Baghlan-e-Markzai district on Monday evening, which left seven people including five brothers dead,\" district police chief, Sayed Mir Ahmadzai told Xinhua. Another person sustained injuries and police have arrested seven people in this case, he added, saying investigation has been initiated to determine the cause for the bloody clash. Tribal feuds and enmity often claim lives in the conflict- ridden Afghanistan, where majority of residents are armed, especially in the countryside.
