A top commander of Iran's Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) was killed in clashes in Central Syria last night, bringing the number of IRGC casualties in the war-torn country in the last two days to eight, Fars reported Saturday.

Brigadier General Reza Khavari, the senior commander of IRGC's Fatemiyoun Division, was killed in Hama clashes, while seven other members of the Iranian troops. mostly from Ansar Corps, were killed within two days, the Iranian news agency added.
