Mozambican authorities released on Thursday in Maputo the list of passengers on board of the flight TM 470 that crashed in Namibia on route to Angola last Friday. The Institute of Civil Aviation of Mozambique (ICAM) released the list after a formal notification to the families of the victims, including 10 Mozambicans, nine Angolans, five Portuguese, a Chinese national, a Frenchman, a Brazilian and six crew members. It's not yet clear when the bodies will be repatriated to Mozambique. Currently the investigations are still struggling to identify the victims. Joao Abreu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the ICAM, informed that the work of the technical team which deals with collecting and analyzing data to identify the remains of passengers still at a preliminary stage. The President Armando Guebuza called off his travel to France where he was meant to attend the Elysée Summit on Peace and Safety in Africa. Guebuza said he wants to be in Mozambique to allow him to follow closely the investigations process and the repatriation of the bodies. Still on Thursday the Mozambique's first lady Maria da Luz Guebuza initiated home visits to the mourning families to offer them comfort during this sad moment.
