A plane crashed Thursday in Lagos shortly after take-off, killing at least 11 of its passengers. Nigerian news agency NAN reported today that the Associated Airlines flight, bound for the western city of Akure, crashed and caught fire in Lagos after taking off from Murtala Muhammad International Airport. Other than the 11 killed, four passengers were injured and were taken to a hospital. The number of passengers who were aboard the small aircraft is yet to be identified.
