Colombian officials said that a plane crashed in a jungle region of the country and at least 10 people are believed to have died, ABC news reported Sunday.
The director of operations for Colombia's civil aeronautics agency says at least three bodies have been recovered and officials are trying to identify the victims.
Col. Juan Carlos Rocha said the plane was reported missing at about 3 p.m. Saturday on a flight from Araracuara to Florencia in the country's southwest.
The Colombian authorities are trying to determine the cause of the incident.
