A farmer in Russia\'s Siberian region of Altai committed suicide using a chainsaw after a drinking session with his brother, investigators said. The 55-year-old farmer was drinking with his visiting younger brother, when \"the thought came to him of taking his life,\" the Altai Investigative Committee said in a statement. \"He went out to a tool shed and took a chainsaw that he used to slash his throat. He died on the spot from his wounds.\" Investigators are holding an inquiry into his death.
