At least six people were killed in a drone strike in Doga Madakhel area of North Waziristan on Thursday. According to local sources, the drone fired two missiles on a house.
It has been learnt that Doga Madakhel has not been cleared of terrorists so far, according to Pakistan's (Dunya News).
This is the third drone strike since the US resumed its drone programme in Pakistan following the Karachi attack.
Earlier in June, two drone attacks were carried out in Dargah Mandi area of North Waziristan, killing 16 militants.
