The US-led coalition targeted Daesh with 20 strikes in Iraq and Syria, Russia Today reported on Thursday.

In Iraq, 15 strikes near five cities were centered near Ramadi. Four tactical units were hit and six improvised explosive devices destroyed, the Combined Joint Task Force said.

Five strikes in Syria destroyed two IS cranes and two workover rigs, and hit a headquarters near Ar Raqqah and other targets near Palmyra and Mar’a, according to the military.
