The number of confirmed deaths in the Washingtonstate mudslide has increased from 24 to 28, according to the Snohomish CountyMedical Examiner’s Office.Twenty-two of the bodies have been identified, up from 19 the day before. Thedeceased range in age from 4 months to 71 years.As the Snohomish County medical examiner’s office worked to identify the six othervictims, rescue workers continued picking through the debris field in the hopes of
finding the 20 people that are still missing, according to CNN News.Improving weather and receding floodwaters made the search slightly easier.Around 180 people resided in the area before the mud slides.
