Rain in some parts of Oman will bring down temperatures this week, according to the Oman Meteorology Department.

“Latest weather analysis shows that the Sultanate may be affected by a trough with chances of rain over Al Hajar Mountains and Dhofar governorate over the next few days,” the Meteorology Department said. 

The rainfall may extend to other governorates of Oman from Tuesday. “But we are still not sure whether Muscat will receive any rainfall,” an official of Oman Meteorology Department said.
