Airbus Helicopters and China's Avicopter said Wednesday they had signed a deal to jointly produce 1,000 civilian helicopters over 20 years. Airbus said the deal -- signed during a visit to Paris by Chinese President Xi Jinping -- would "strengthen the industrial partnership" with Avicopter to produce the EC175/AC352 helicopters.
