Iraqi Transport Ministry announced on Sunday it has received the third Boeing 737 plane as part of a contract signed with the US Boeing Company in 2008. In press statements on Sunday, The Iraqi Airlines Company Chief Saad Mahdi Khafagui said the plane is one of 45 planes included in the contract signed in 2008. An official delegation from the Ministry of Transport received the plane at Baghdad International Airport, noting that the plane has been manufactured according to the specifications set by Iraq. Iraq is also expected to receive 11 more planes during the coming year. The ministry signed a contract in 2008 to be supplied with 45 planes. The ministry sources reported that the ministry will receive 4 more planes this year
