Chinese stocks opened higher on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening at 2,223.05, up 1.46 points, or 0.07 percent.
The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 7,967.91, up 1.03 points, or 0.01 percent.
