Chinese shares closed mixed on Monday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.003 percent, or 0.07 points, to finish at 2,149.63. The Shenzhen Component Index lost 0.41 percent, or 37.79 points, to finish at 8,416.93.
