Chinese shares ended mixed on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.23 percent, or 5.01 points, to close at 2,128.86. The Shenzhen Component Index gained 0.75 percent, or 62.24 points, to close at 8,398.92.
