China stocks opened slightly lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening at 2,080.48, down 5.5 points, or 0.26 percent.
The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 7,400.08, down 16.91 points, or 0.23 percent.
