The U.S. dollar traded in the lower 101 yen range on Friday morning in Tokyo deals, slightly higher from its overnight levels in New York.
At 9 a.m. local time, the dollar was quoted at 101.31-32 yen compared with 101.29-39 yen in New York and 101.51-52 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. local time Thursday.
The euro fetched 1.3604-3605 dollars and 137.82-85 yen against 1.3604-3614 dollars and 137.85-95 yen in New York and 1.3634-3635 dollars and 138.40-44 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon.
