The Egyptian Exchange indexes closed last week up and the market capital gained EGP 9 billion to hit EGP 510 billion.
During the course of the week, the benchmark index EGX 30 jumped 3.7 percent to 9,153 points, said a weekly report issued by the Egyptian Exchange, of which MENA received a copy.
The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) soared 0.74 percent, reaching 633 points.
The all-embracing EGX 100 index was also up 1.51 percent to hit 1,125 points.
The capped index EGX 20 increased 4.6 percent, closing at 10,999 points.
