22 of the 40 selected companies gained advance while the other 18 experienced decrease.
Vivendi leads the gainers with 3.56 percent advance, while Alcatel-Lucent lost most and decreased 3.03 percent.
In other stock markets, DAX advanced 33.16 index points and stood at 9,187.30 index points, with a 0.36 percent increase. FTSE 100 increased 0.15 percent by advancing 10.28 index points and stood at 6,687.80 index points.
