Germany's DAX breaches 10,000 points for first time

 Germany's main stock index breached 10,000 points for the first time ever on Thursday after the European Central Bank cut its key interest rates and unveiled new measures to support bank lending.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 breached the psychologically significant mark at 1233 GMT after the ECB cut its central refi refinancing rate to 0.15 percent, from 0.25 percent previously. At 1244 GMT, it was up 0.62 percent at 9,991.93 points.
