The Indian stocks closed higher Thursday with the Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark index Sensex closing at 22,344.04 points, 20.14 points or 0.09 percent up from the previous close of 22,323.90 points. The Sensex traded flat during the day with only banking and auto stocks gaining.
