The Indian stocks opened higher Thursday with the Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark index Sensex opening at 22,382.14 points, 58.24 points or 0.26 percent up from the previous close of 22,323.90 points. The Indian stocks have been in an upbeat mood as the general election is drawing to a close with the Bharatiya Janata Party posed to win and form a pro-business government.
