Indian stocks opened higher Thursday with the BSE benchmark index Sensex opening at 24,409.14 points, 111.12 points or 0.46 percent up from the previous close of 24,298. 02 points. The Indian stocks have been upbeat over the victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the general election.
