Indian stocks soared

Indian stocks soared on Monday, led by shares of capital goods and energy companies.
The BSE benchmark index Sensex closed at 25,413.78 points, 313. 86 points or 1.25 percent up from the previous close of 25,099.92 points.
Since the beginning of this year, the Sensex has gained 19.85%, while foreign institutional investors have bought $9.88 billion from local equity markets.
