South Korean stocks traded almost unchanged late Friday morning as investors remained wary ahead of big data releases at home and abroad, analysts said.
The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) edged down 1.9 points, or 0.1 percent, to 1,991.8 as of 11:20 a.m. The main bourse snapped its six straight gains on Thursday after surpassing the 2,000 point level on Wednesday for the first time in three months .
