South Korean stocks opened higher Wednesday following an overnight gain in U.S. stocks, analysts said. The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) rose 4.77 points, or 0.24 percent, to 1,997.80 in the first 15 minutes of trading.
