South Korean stocks opened lower Friday as investors went on profit-taking from recent rally on the local stock market, analysts said.
The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) shed 8.03 points, or 0.39 percent, to 2,068.09 in the first 15 minutes of trading.
