Singapore stocks finished lower on Friday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 7.34 points, or 0.23 percent, to close at 3,212.72. A total of 1.92 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1. 02 billion Singapore dollars (809 million U.S. dollars). Gainers led losers 235 to 214, while 495 others finished unchanged. The STI index up 27.28 points, or 0.85 percent, to close at 3, 220.06 on Thursday.
