Singapore stocks finished higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 10.5 points, or 0.33 percent, to close at 3,204.09. A total of 1.98 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1. 1 billion Singapore dollars (873 million U.S. dollars). Gainers outnumbered losers 260 to 164, while 519 others finished unchanged. The STI index lost 19.13 points, or 0.6 percent, to close at 3, 193.59 on Monday.
