Singapore stocks finished higher on Thursday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 15.07 points, or 0.48 percent, to close at 3,169.91. A total of 3.28 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.09 billion Singapore dollars (872 million U.S. dollars). Gainers outnumbered decliners 288 to 130, while 539 others finished unchanged. The STI index gained 8.34 points, or 0.27 percent, to close at 3,154.84 on Wednesday.
