A total of 1.68 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1. 16 billion Singapore dollars (924.3 million U.S. dollars). Decliners outnumbered gainers 308 to 147, while 489 others finished unchanged. The STI lost 16.36 points, or 0.5 percent, to close at 3,267.57 on Friday.
