Singapore stocks finished lower on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 29.70 points, or 0.91 percent, to close at 3,222.43. A total of 1.80 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1. 16 billion Singapore dollars (928.0 million U.S. dollars). Decliners led gainers 243 to 187, while 511 others finished unchanged. The STI index gained 4.44 points, or 0.14 percent, to close at 3,252.13 on Friday.
