Singapore stocks finished lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 8.23 point, or 0.25 percent, to close at 3,283.34.
A total of 1.52 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 928.3 million Singapore dollars (748.6 million U.S. dollars).
Losers led gainers 223 to 185, while 531 others finished unchanged.
The STI index gained 19.32 point, or 0.59 percent, to close at 3,291.57.
