Singapore stocks finished higher

Singapore stocks finished higher on Wednesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 21. 27 points, or 0.66 percent, to close at 3,26.91.
A total of 1.93 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 963.4 million Singapore dollars (770.7 million U.S. dollars).
Gainers led decliners 272 to 154, while 514 others finished unchanged.
The STI index lost 13.03 points, or 0.4 percent, to close at 3, 242.64 on Tuesday.
