South Korean shares ended almost flat as the momentum wasn't strong enough to carry it above the 2030 line, South Korea's (KBS World) reported.
The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) inched down 0.61 point, or 0.03%, on Wednesday to close at 2028.32.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ declined 1.79 points, or 0.32%, to close at 563.14.
On the Seoul foreign exchange market, the local currency gained 0.7 won against the US dollar to end the day at 1023.7 won.
